Teen Program

Teen Leadership is a leadership development program under Leadership Amarillo & Canyon for high school (public, private and home schooled) students at the sophomore, junior and senior level.  This unique program provides students the opportunity to interact with peers from across the area, while participating in site-tours, presentations and hands-on activities one day a month throughout the academic school year.  Elements of Teen Leadership include leadership development, business preparation, college preparation, community awareness and social consciousness.

CLASSES ARE AN EXCUSED ABSENCE IN ALL SCHOOL DISTRICTS!!!

October 18th - Meet Andy Justus/KAMR TV/Tour Cal Farley's Boys Ranch

November 15th - Day on Campus of WTAMU

December 13th - Servant Leadership at City Church

January 17th - Stereotypes/Labels/Tour Faith City Mission

February 21st - Technical Programs at AC East Campus/Tour Bell Helicopter

March 21st - Understanding Poverty and Diversity/Poverty Simulation

April 18th - Snack Pak 4 Kids and High Plains Food Bank

May 16th - Graduation Day! Family, Teachers and Counselors are Invited!
