Teen Program

Teen Leadership is a leadership development program under Leadership Amarillo & Canyon for high school (public, private and home schooled) students at the sophomore, junior and senior level.  This unique program provides students the opportunity to interact with peers from across the area, while participating in site-tours, presentations and hands-on activities one day a month throughout the academic school year.  Elements of Teen Leadership include leadership development, business preparation, college preparation, community awareness and social consciousness.

December 14th Servant Leadership - City Church (helping children in need)

January 18th Richard Lara (life before prison, during prison and now),          Stereotypes/Assumptions, Faith City Tour

February 8th Conflict Resolution/Food for Thought/ Snack Pak 4 Kids Tour

March 8th Understanding Diversity/Poverty/High Plains Food Bank/Poverty Simulation

April 12th AC East Campus Technical Training Program/Bell Helicopter Tour

May 10th Graduation Day! Family, Teachers and Counselors are Invited!
